Dear Applicant;

Thank you for expressing interest in Tirgan 2011 – proudly presenting “Eternity” (‘Jaavdanegi’ in Persian) as the theme of the event.

Tirgan 2011 offers an opportunity to all artists from all over the world to exhibit their creative talent in one or more artistic disciplines, including music, visual arts, theatre, film, dance, literature, and children activities.

As an interested candidate, you are requested to complete and submit, via email, an application package, by no later than Monday, January 10, 2011; which includes the following information:

  1. Subject (discipline of interest) – Indicate the discipline of your interest in the subject line of your email (e.g. Music, Visual Arts, Theatre, Film, Dance, Literature, or Children Activities)
  2. Personal Information – Include your complete name and contact information (i.e. email and phone number), as well as your country of residence
  3. Education and Training – List any formal training or education received relevant to the subject of you application
  4. Relevant Experience – Provide a list of your selected performances/presentations, including dates and locations
  5. Work Sample – Supply a maximum of 5 work samples, accessible through a website or a link, or simply as email attachments, not exceeding 20 MB (links to video clips are recommended)
  6. Band/ensemble and Instruments – If applicable, provide the approximate number of members and the type of instruments played in your group
  7. Proposal Summary – If applicable, include a summary of the proposed performance/presentation
  8. References – provide a list of valid references (3 references recommended)


Complete submissions will include all items above. Only complete applications will be forwarded to the review committee for further consideration.

Decisions will be formed based on quality of work, degree of relevance to the theme of Tirgan 2011, venue facilities, technical requirements, and budgetary approval.

Please note that due to the large number of queries received, invitations will only be extended to successful applicants.
